Later Start Days
If starting a tour at 10-30am doesn’t suit
you for whatever reason you can book a trip
as a
Later Start Option.
Instead of arriving at 10-30am you can meet
the tour guide at 11-45am/noon and start
your day out with an early lunch.
The
Later Start Option
is available
across the board, including our Together Tour
itineraries where, instead of starting with
morning coffee as on a standard timing day,
you arrive for an early lunch at midday and a
cup of coffee is still included in the tour fee but
is served after your lunch.
Later Start Days cover all the core itinerary
points as described in the tour description.
The order of events may differ but not the tour
content and you will not head home much later
than on a standard timings tour. Usually it’s
a matter of heading for home about 30 minutes
later than an ordinary start day.
Please feel free to ask for a further explanation
of how a Later Start Option will work in regard to
a particular itinerary.
Introducing Our New Chap Frederick Little
This is Frederick or Fred Little who has joined
us as a trainee in operations. Fred is 19 years
old and is the second new employee to be
younger than the company itself. Gyll has
been working with at least four of our team of
tour guides for longer than young Fred has
been drawing breath.
Recruiting Frederick onto the full time payroll
is part of our on going commitment to offer
young people real paid jobs to get them
started in the employment world in these
difficult times.
Fred takes an active interest in current affairs
regularly attending speaker events including
the BBC’s Question Time. He is training to be
a scout leader with his local pack the First
East Wickham.
Oh and he looks lovely in black tie!
