eye-opener of the morning is St Pancras Station
where the beautifully restorations of recent years
become ever more magical with the addition of new
art works. We can stop here for lunch, there’s a good
selection of choices and we will be at the quiet end
of the station where the tourists rarely venture!
To complete an exciting day out we are going to
take a 50 minute cruise on the Regents Canal. The
canal was built to link the River Thames with the
Grand Union Canal at Paddington, passing through
the
Railway Lands
at King’s Cross & St Pancras.
We will join the canal at Camden Lock and travel
through Regents Park past London Zoo heading to
elegant Little Venice. Your group might have joined
us on this canal cruise anytime over the past 25
years. Come back and see how it has changed.
We’ll stop for refreshments in the Paddington Basin
if you are going home to the West (4.45pm), zip
over to the Royal Festival Hall to steal a march on
the rush hour if you go home to the south (5.15pm).
For East Anglian and Midland folk we can join the
boat at Little Venice and stop for tea at Camden
Lock and head home at 4.45pm. The King’s Cross &
The Regents Canal tour is available daily all year.
This day rates a four on our new Olympic track
walking content guide, which means a manageable
total of 1600 yards spread out through the day.

King’s Cross with the Foundling Museum
The morning as described with an afternoon visit to
the Foundling Museum at Bloomsbury. . You can buy
tea at the Foundling Museum before heading home at
4.45pm. Available Tuesdays to Sundays all year.

King’s Cross with a Thames Cruise
Enjoy a 45-minute morning cruise from Greenwich
to Westminster followed by an afternoon tour of the
King’s Cross developments as described above. This
day runs from 10.30am to 4.45pm and is available
weekdays all year
