Olympic Sites Tours
in 2012 & Beyond
Our Olympic itineraries are available to book
throughout 2012 right up until 24 July and then
again from 10 September 2012.
Neither before nor after the Games this year
will it be possible to go inside the Olympic Park
but with new roads now open there are great
views from a number of vantage points. Our
2012 brochure includes six different Olympic
itineraries (there are yet more on the website).
Options include:
– our in
depth day trip including morning coffee and
lunch. A great introduction to Olympic London.
as above but
starting at noon with lunch and a coffee so it is
ideal if you are coming from further afield.
new
for 2012 start with mid morning brunch on a
boat, enjoy an Olympic panoramic tour and
then shop at the new state of the art Westfield
Stratford City shopping centre. A great trip if
your folk like a little less tour and a bit more
free time.
- a tour of Olympic
London with morning coffee & lunch included
plus time to enjoy the Firepower galleries at the
Woolwich Arsenal. Great for returning groups.
Explore
Olympic London at the gritty urban end of the Lee
Valley and enjoy a cream tea cruise at the leafy,
rural end. Another very popluar option for
returning groups.
- A Christmas tour. Arrive for free
time for lunch at Westfield, enjoy a tour of Olympic
London in daylight, a tour of the London Lights as
the sun goes down and sit back to relax on our
unique ten mile cruise after dark (and still head for
home by 7.15pm).
Although a lucky few bagged Olympic tickets
most of us plan to watch the Games on the telly
but it’s not too late to become part of Olympic his-
tory. If you are a first time visitor or you are return-
ing after an earlier tour here is what is new to see
in 2012:
●The new cable car across the River Thames
●Vast space age constructions for the shooting
events up on Woolwich Common
● The state-of-the-art Westfield Stratford City
●The “Hubble Bubble” observation tower
