ristmas Cruise
Option One - The Cruise & The Christmas Lights
This option begins with the 90-minute cruise boarding at
3.30pm beneath the Thames Cable Car at The O
2
for a 4.00pm
sailing. The bar is open as you board and dusk falls as we make
our way up river –it’s fully dark as we pass Greenwich and the
Docklands and the excitement grows as we head towards the
City and the West End. Pop out onto the big open deck to fully
appreciate the splendour of Tower Bridge at night which frames
the mighty Shard as you can see in the photograph below that
I took last year from the deck of the London Rose.
We arrive at Waterloo Pier beneath the London Eye at 5.30pm
where our top notch Blue Badge Guide is waiting with your
coach driver to take you on a tour of Christmas London by night.
You’ll see the lights in the shopping streets but the real star is
London itself, beautifully illuminated. See where all the fun and
games of 2012 took place from the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
events to the London 2012 Olympics and finish with time for
drinks at the Somerset House Ice Rink before heading home at
7.30pm. This tour is available from Sundays to Thursdays
18 November to 6 December 2012
and costs £17.95 per person.
Coach Mileage is 20 miles. Very little walking involved.
Option Two - The Christmas Cruise & The Cable Car
This is a very special Christmas Trip for 2012
Enjoy a 360° return daylight flight on the Thames Cable Car,
a guided coach tour of the London Lights & Sights as dark falls
and then come full circle on our privately chartered 90-minute
after dark Christmas Cruise with a really entertaining skipper’s
commentary and fully licensed bar. It’s a really winning formula
for a great night out for your group to celebrate Christmas 2012.
Here’s how it works:

Stop for lunch at midday in Greenwich

Meet the guide at The Cable Car (right by The O

2.15pm
Begin your tour with a 20 minute return daylight flight
on the new Thames Cable Car.
2.45pm
Enjoy a coach tour past the site of the Olympic
equestrian events in Greenwich, the foot of The Shard in
Bermondsey, into the West End for the London Lights before
arriving at Waterloo Pier.
5.30pm
Sail from Waterloo Pier ten miles to The O
2

7.00pm
Arrive at The O
2

7.15pm
Head Home.

Option Three Christmas Cruise & The London Eye
Sail from The O
2
at 4.00pm and step ashore at Waterloo Pier
immediately beneath the London Eye at 5.30pm for immediate
boarding and head home at 6.45pm. Please note there is no
coach tour on this option which is available Sun to Thurs from
18 November to 6 December.
