A Carvery Lunch in January or February
If you’d like to light up the dark months of January
and February for your group how about booking our
Food Glorious Food trip for any midweek date in
January or February 2014. For £19.95pp the day in-
cludes morning coffee with biscuits and just about
the best carvery lunch we know of in London served
at an iconic pub on Fleet Street.
Come for morning coffee at 10.30am on Fleet Street
and then enjoy a morning learning about what Lon-
don ate and where they bought it from in the capital
through the ages. Food Glorious Food in the famous
Smithfield meat market and the old game market at
Leadenhall. Come on a Wednesday, Thursday or
Friday and we can also include a walk through the
famous Borough Farmers Market which is a visual
delight. After lunch on Fleet Street we go upmarket
for the afternoon with a walk through the elegant
Burlington Arcade and a visit to the sumptuous Food
Hall at Fortnum & Mason. Bring a chiller box or two
in the back of the coach so that people can take home
some treats. The day finishes in Piccadilly at 4.45pm
