Dear Group Organiser,
In 2013 we celebrate our 25th anniversary. From the very beginning we
have concentrated on organising creative and original guided tours for
groups who like to see a lot without walking too far. We also organise
guided tours for schools and corporate customers but we haven’t gone
off into hotels and holidays or theatre tickets. We are a specialist guided
tour company and we’ve got it down to a tee. Shoemaker stick to thy last.
We’ve got a little bigger over the years because groups that book with us
come back time and time again and new organisers find us by word of
mouth. But we haven’t got so big that we don’t have time to enjoy
a conversation with our group organisers.
All of our trips are designed for British groups and over 95% of our
customers are retired people. Some of our customers have been booking
trips with us since the beginning and they haven’t got any younger so it
is increasingly important to give group organisers a clear an idea of the
walking involved. So this year we are introducing a new key to walking
that uses the Olympic running track as a visual representation
of distances. The new walking key is explained on page 5.
The days of putting together one brochure a year are gone because so
many new and exciting things are coming along all the time. So we now
publish our online magazine once a month called
The Kettle
. There is a
printed edition of this brochure available, if you would like a copy call

If you want to give one of our days out a go there is absolutely nothing
to lose. Book a trip and pay a £25.00 deposit to keep it safe while you
sign up your members. To help you promote the trip we can send you
a free colour poster. If for any reason you don’t get it off the ground
and you need to cancel you get your deposit back in full. We also have
a very generous refunds policy for anyone who can’t come on the day.
