we measure every step
We’ve got groups that have been coming on days
out with us now for more than 20 years and no
one has gotten any younger! So it has become
even more important to put group organisers in
the picture when it comes to the walking involved
with different trips.
We have, quite literally, measured every step with
our surveyors measuring wheel as demonstrated
by Blue Badge guide, Jan on the Essex Highlands
Tour below. To give a visual representation of the
walking content we are using the Olympic running
track which is 400 metres (more or less 400 yards)
So a One inside the Olympic track as below
means that during the day the most you’ll have to
walk is 400 metres. A Two inside the track
means 800 metres and so on.
We hope that this will help
you choose the right
itineraries for your members.
