Back to the coaching inn for a carvery lunch included in
the tour fee. Reasonably priced bar drinks, hot drinks
and desserts can be bought by individuals as desired on
the day.
On the short drive to the William Morris Gallery the
guide will outline the life and achievements of the man
as well as the telling the story of the building and the
gallery. Enjoy the displays at your own pace and opt
in to a little walk into Lloyd Park with the tour guide
before settling down to buy tea in the new café.
You’ll be ready to head home at 4.45pm following an
exhilarating day out enjoying the artistic and Olympic
legacies of London’s East End.
East London’s Artistic & Olympic Legacy is available
Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays from 1 August
2013 until 17 April 2014. Expect about 1500 metres of
walking spread out over the course of the day (that’s
roughly 1600 yards).
