The Coach Tour is a 2-hour odyssey of Christmas
London by night with an award-winning Blue
Badge Guide.
The Christmas Cruise is a 90-minute journey from
Waterloo Pier along ten miles of the River Thames
from the West End and through the City, the
Docklands & Greenwich to The O

tour. You could stop for lunch earlier in Greenwich or
come for refreshments and a toilet stop at The O

1.00pm say but you need to be ready to meet the tour
guide and begin the tour at 2.00pm.
We start with the Emirates Air Line Thames Cable Car,
20 minutes of panoramic views on a return flight across
to the Royal Docks and back to The O

gondola seats 10 people. If a group member does not
want to go on the cable car they can stroll along to the
river wall to see the cormorant colony or watch the
exploits of people walking across the top of The O
2 .
Next by coach into central London where as dusk and
then dark falls we will show you just how beautiful our
capital is after dark with a special emphasis on new
buildings like The Shard and The Pinnacle. At 5.30pm
we board The London Rose at Waterloo Pier immediately
beneath The London Eye. As soon as you step on board
the bar is open selling hot drinks as well as the traditional
range of bar drinks and wines by the bottle.
Groups from all over the UK are quite enchanted by the
beauty of the mighty River Thames on our unique
after-dark Christmas Cruises. A tangible thrill ripples
through the boat as we sail beneath a floodlit Tower
Bridge and voices join in with the Christmas carols we
play as folk come aboard our warm and cosy privately
chartered cruiser.
Inside The London Rose it’s warm, spacious and yet cosy
with big picture windows for terrific views. It could seat
200 people but we cap it at 150 for maximum comfort.
The fully licensed bar also sells hot drinks and is open
throughout the cruise. There are proper flush toilets and
two comfortable and centrally heated sightseeing cabins
plus a vast open deck.
