The London Olympic Games
The Opening Ceremony is Friday 27 July 2012.
The Closing Ceremony is Sunday 12 August.
The Paralympic Games
The Opening Ceremony is on Wednesday 29
August 2012. The Closing Ceremony is on
Sunday 9 September.
All of our other tours will continue to
available throughout the summer
except for the following:
The mountain bicycle events take place at
Hadleigh Farm near Southend on the weekend
of 11 and 12 August 2012 so we will not take
bookings for Creeks & Cockles between 9 and
14 August 2012.
Eton Dorney, out near Windsor is the venue for
the canoe sprint and rowing events, the latter
for both the Olympics and the Paralympics so
we will be taking bookings for The Other River
Explorer up to 24 July and then not again until
10 September 2012.
School Half Terms & Holidays 2012
In London schools half terms and
the summer holidays are as follows:
Spring Half term:
Monday 13 February – Friday 17 February
Summer Half term:
Monday 4 June – Friday 8 June
Summer Holidays:
Wednesday 18 July to Monday 3
September
Autumn Half Term:
Monday 29 October – Friday 2 November
The kids pack up for Christmas on
Friday 21 December.

We will be taking bookings for
our Olympic Tours right up to
24 July and then again from 10
September 2012.

The Spring Bank Holiday moves
forward a bit to Monday 4 June.
The extra Diamond Jubilee Bank
Holiday will be Tuesday 5 June
The Summer Bank Holiday will
Fall on Monday 27 August
Christmas Day they are leaving alone
It falls in 2012 on Tuesday 25 December
