Dear Gyll,
I just wanted to let you know how well our
Medway Mosaic trip went last week.
The arrangements for coffee us on arrival ….
were excellent, as was the lunch we enjoyed
there later. How they managed to serve us so
quickly with a limited staff is a mystery. Carol was
an excellent Blue Badge guide, full of interesting
information about Cooling Church, Rochester and
many other places that we saw from the coach
The length of the walk in Rochester town centre
was just right: not tiring for even our more elderly
members, and leaving us enough time to do our
own exploration of a place unfamiliar to most of
us.
I enclose a couple of photos of our group taken
at Cooling.
My congratulations to all at C&V, and also
to Carol, for making it such a successful and
memorable day.
Best regards
Richard Woodhams

Three Counties National Trust went
on the Medway Mosaic Tour.
Medway Mosaic is a Together Tour
and includes morning coffee & biscuits
and a chicken lunch.
In the morning we take your folk on a
coach tour of the Hoo Peninsula with
a visit to the church that inspired one
of Charles Dickens’ most famous literary
scenes - the meeting of Pip and the
convict Magwitch at the beginning of
Great Expectations.
Back to the pub for a sociable lunch
together before driving into nearby
Rochester where you can join the tour
guide for a walking tour or peel off
to visit the Cathedral or explore the
interesting mix of shops on the old High
Street.
The Medway Mosaic tour is on page 23
of our current brochure and is also
described on our website
